The ELTL (English, Teaching, and Literature) started in 2012. At that time, the committee aimed at discussing issues related to English Language, Teaching, and Literature. The name was changed in 2013 to be ELTLT (English Language Teaching, Literature, and Translation). The committee also expanded Translation as one field to be discussed in this International Conference.

The goals of ELTLT (English Language Teaching, Literature, and Translation) are to promote papers and facilitate cross-cultural understanding among people. Those people are concerned with English Language Teaching, Literature, and Translation. It is expected that through the discussions in the conference, there will be teachers, researchers, and those interested in the areas share their ideas that can contribute to the better relation among the nations throughout the world.
